Lyric congratulates Inna Montesclaros for her successful "Classics for a Cause: Inna Montesclaros In Concert" held on May 21, 2023, at the Tanghalang Harrison, Insular Life Corporate Center, Filinvest Alabang.
 

The concert was presented by the LAMDAG Foundation for Women's Projects, Inc. in cooperation with Insular Life. The concert is in support of the construction of the Dayao Center in Davao City that will be “dedicated to the total development of young professionals, female students and lady helpers in Davao and the nearby provinces.”

The young globally multi-awarded and passionate piano virtuoso has long been supported by Lyric and we are proud of her achievements. Lyric provided the Kawai baby grand piano for the concert.

She played Chopin pieces in the first part of the program: Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante Op. 22; Etude in E major, Op.10 no.3; Etude in C minor, Op 10 no. 12, and Ballade no. 1 in G minor, Op.23.

The second part featured Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 21 in C Major Op. 53; F. Buencamino’s Mayon Fantasia de Concierto and Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 10 in E major.
 

On her Facebook page, Inna expressed, “Finally recovered from Sunday's concert! Thank you again to the organizers, to Lyric, to Insular Life and to all the extremely generous sponsors for supporting Dayao Center and Lamdag Foundation for Women's Projects Inc. And of course, thank you, everyone for coming to watch! It’s always so wonderful to play to such a warm audience. I do hope you enjoyed the music and my pa-TedTalk effect hehe!
